Former Galatasaray striker Alvaro Morata has revealed what Victor Osimhen was like behind the scenes at the Turkish club, describing the Nigerian forward as a kind, funny and helpful teammate.

Morata, who is currently on loan at Leganes from Como, played alongside Osimhen during his time at Galatasaray in the Turkish Super Lig.

Speaking with Sporty TV, the Spanish striker praised Osimhen’s personality away from the pitch, saying the Nigerian was always willing to help those around him.

Morata described Osimhen as “a legend” and “a very funny person,” while also praising him as a genuinely good person.

“Victor Osimhen is really, really a great guy. Victor is a legend. He’s a very funny person,” Morata said.

“He’s constantly helping everyone. What a guy! He’s truly a wonderful person.”
